The Road to the Ramen

It's back, The Road to the Ramen, Part XV!  It's bigger than ever!  More teams (68) = More Ramen!

Hi, this is Doug Mancosky.  Thought it would be fun to get an NCAA group together of my friends and family.  No money on the line, just pride and the grand prize of 68 packages of everybody's favorite college food, Top Ramen noodles.  We'll also have a prize for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and last place.

PRIZES

1st - 68 packages of ramen noodles in honor of the 68 teams. (street value approx. $13.12 along with your picture immortalized on this site!).

2nd - 16" Pizza gift card in honor of the Sweet 16.

3rd - 8 packages of mac 'n' cheese in honor of the Great 8.

4th - $4 gift card to Starbucks in honor of the Final 4 (might buy you one cup!)

Last - 1 can of potted meat (aka generic SPAM). Why generic? Because you're in last place and high quality name brand SPAM is too good for you.

Bonus - If this year's winner also picked all the Final 4 correctly I'll add this bonus sweatshirt!

So I went to the Final 4 a couple years ago and yep, I snuck a pack of Ramen in.  I even got it signed by Dick Vitale, no joke!

2014 Brian Russell!

2013 Beth Russell!

Brian was our 2014 winner and began our first "dynasty" after his wife Beth won last year. Beth was 2013’s winner with her strong performance in the early rounds and pick of Louisville as champs.  Beth is our first female winner of the ramen and now a whole new generation of girls will grow-up realizing anything is possible.  Beth seemed sincerely excited about receiving the ramen and was also the big winner of Doug’s Super Bowl prop bet contest.  Beth is a teacher, but maybe she missed her calling as a professional sports gambler in Vegas?
